It looked like a scene straight out of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. A truck carrying liquid mashed potato mix accidentally spilled its cargo all over a highway in North Yorkshire, England. Gawker reports that no one was injured.

According to British paper The Press, the fluffy mash made cars skid to a stop and resulted in British authorities closing the section of highway. The North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service plowed away the Thanksgiving staple and used freezing chemicals on the remains. The fire crew then washed the rest of the potatoes away with high-powered water hoses.

The Press reports that it took about four hours to partially reopen the road and another two hours to fully reopen it. Unfortunately, no one brought any gravy to the scene.
